You provide the first line IT support for software, hardware, network and communication technology problems to all users at the HQ office in Brussels and Luxembourg. These users work both on a centrally managed IT platform trough a Citrix client application and on stand-alone PC applications. In this role your main tasks are:
Troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
Install, support and maintain hardware (PC’s, printers, multi-media projectors,…) and communication technology (mobile devices, Ipads, 3G, …).
Assistance in IT-administration (inventories, software licences, hardware purchases,…)
Maintenance of the network and servers and develop, maintain and test the Business Continuity Plan, in close cooperation with Etex IT.
Provide in-house training of end users on specific topics (Lotus Notes, Office365).
You have a bachelor degree in Informatics and experience in a helpdesk function. environment. Experience in supporting a higher management environment is a plus.
You have experience with installation of PCs and knowledge of Windows 7, Windows 10, Office 365 products, Windows 2008 or 2012 server and Active Directory. Knowledge of Lotus Notes and Citrix is an asset.
You are passionate about learning new products and keeping your IT-knowledge up-to-date.
You are fluent in English, written as well as spoken. Knowledge of French and Dutch is an asset.
You have excellent communication skills and you work autonomously, accurate and well organized.
You know how to set priorities, can cope with stress and are a true problem solver.
Being part of the first line IT support team, you are flexible to work sporadically on other Etex locations (Kapelle-op-den-Bos, Tisselt, Sint-Niklaas) when required.
You will work for Shared Service Centre Benelux-Nordics-Iberica. This is a shared service centre within Etex Group that provides services in finance, IT, payroll and admin purchasing to Etex companies in Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg, Scandinavia, Spain and Portugal.
